Not only the well-known Drau cycle path - attracts the whole family for day trips, also the cycle path along the river Gail is gorgeous for cyclist, and definitely a highlight is the Alpe-Adria-Bike-Trail , beautiful and cross-border.
The cycle paths along Lake Faak and Lake Ossiach - are ideal for glorious excursions, stop where you wish, dip into the refreshing water and treat yourself to some local specialities...
For more advanced cyclist, at the our doorstep, the mountains Dobratsch and Gerlitzen offer real challenges...a variety of tours and trails for those of you who love mountain biking or downhill, is simply incredible!
The Carnic Alps, the Nockberge, the mountains Hohe Tauern...are all conveniently located for day trips ... for example the first permanent Austrian downhill track on the mountains Verditz.

3 COUNTRIES TOUR
(Warmbad - Italy – Slovenia/Planica – Kranjska Gora)
68 km, 450 m altitude
The 70 km route passes through 3 countries and climbs the steepest pass in the Karawanken peaks (Wurzenpass) – check your brakes! ;-)
120 km, challenging
Varied day tour: Warmbad-Villach, Arnoldstein, Tarvisio, Camporosso, stop-off for an Italian snack at Dawit. Then we continue on through the Kanaltal valley to Pontebba along the partially developed and tarmacked cycle path along the old railway line. The route then runs from Pontebba on the Nassfeld Pass downhill to Hermagor and through the Gailtal valley back to Warmbad-Villach.
